just pointed out that the bonfires in England are more 'Historical'   and organised not done  to rub in to peoples faces that they one religion or another ..I don't like any of it personally never go to any of them.. guy fawkes was a bad man who was trying to blow up Parliament he got caught the fires are to celebrate his failure to do so.. He wasn't always a catholic his mother remarried someone of that persuasion and Guy  became a fanatic . He was to be hung drawn and quartered but he fell of the scaffold and broke his neck but was still drawn and quartered but at least he' didn't feel a thing'  although he was tortured terribly previously apparently... these bonfires / events are carried out today  just because' they always' have been'  and same in NI It will never end and keeps the hatred and bigotary going on for another generation very sad..  but I don't live there anymore  (since 1970)  so probably not entitled to a say ..I left because of it all going on never thought it would go on so long though- heartbreaking...

Jolene bumbling her way through her speech embarrasing at the least . she should have at least read through it a few times and rehearsed it. public speaking is not easy but it looked as if it was the first time she'd set eyes on it and came across as if she did not understand what it was all about..

That's a totally brilliant screamer.  :)

She reminds me of someone who is thinking in one language, and is trying to speak in another language, and who doesn't realise what they're actually saying.  :)

There's a sort of bizarrely appealing quality to her though.

Anybody who says anything so obviously bats crazy and who really does believe what they're saying, and who doesn't realise how absurd it sounds, is, in a really odd way, kind of deserving of some sort of, albeit undeserved, respect for their honesty.

There's a sort of unpremeditated innocent honesty about what she says.  ::)

She just might have given Ulster politics what it might be most in need of, apart from some common sense that is,... i.e. more comedy.

Actually, I really like her though,... and I think that I would probably vote for her, just to be able to hear what sort of remarks she'd come out with once she was in office.  :)
