Seems it was Brexit was the real reason according to JackM.

The only problem with this conspiracy theory is the fact the Brexit Vote date was the 23rd of June 2016. But Jonathan Bell said he was closing it on February 2016 and starts an investigation into it, which was before the vote. But then Arlene more or less said Jonathan was one of JackM's bully boys, I think?

No matter about Brexit this is a story of an internal fight within the ranks of the D.U.P. be it by accident or design. And the one thing about this saga is that it isn't over until all the details emerge. Although as I have previous stated it looks like a minion will carry the can.

Indeed Brexit is the reason. Sinn Fein / IRA were looking for an excuse to walk away from Stormont because of Brexit and thought the RHI scheme was it. Little did they know.  :D               :D                    :D                         :D

Your logic is somewhat skewed. If you recall Jack they were being blamed by the other parties at the time for being silent on the R.H.I. debacle in order to keep the show on the road. But to be fair to you at least you are consistent in your hatred of all things Sinn Fein.

And you still haven't explained the fact that the Brexit vote came well after the R.H.I scandal broke? Unless of course your talents stretch to clairvoyance?
Be careful out there folks because they aren't.

So the RHI boiler owners have lost their legal case and the huge potential overspend, which the judge accepted would be close to 700 million, has for now been stopped in its tracks.

Mr Justice Colton described the overgenerous tariffs as a 'critical mistake', a mistake we now know that civil servant Fiona Hepper admitted that she and her team didn't spot

And as if to put paid to any notion that the applicants had been hard done by, the judge cited the example of one of them, named only as DA, who had spent 111,000 putting in four boilers and had already received 226,500 in subsidy.

Those boilers must be hugely powerful to cost that much, I wonder if that verdict will be appealed by anyone.

And with every day that passes and with every piece of evidence given thus far, it seems Arlene Foster is in the clear. Wonder what the real reason for collapsing Stormont was. .Brexit perhaps ?  :D

It's more than a bit too early to be assuming and imagining what the final findings of the enquiry will be.

Keep repeating that even more times than you already have, and eventually you might be able to persuade somebody to believe it.

Didn't expect you to agree.  ::)

Didn't expect you to answer the question. Hoped maybe you might address the actual facts of the situation. But then hope springs eternal.

Arlene's been practicing her evidence for the enquiry, and she's even got a new outfit for her appearance.      https://tinyurl.com/yagnc72y

Another milestone in the Inquiry, another key admission of fault, and another civil servant right at the very heart of it.

The appearance of the manager directly responsible for looking after the day-to-day running of the scheme reveals that he 'didn't really understand what was going on'

By his own admission he didn't even reply to a whistleblower's email questioning whether it was right that energy should be wasted for profit and alleging that many firms were doing it.
