Paul Smyth scores in his debut for QPR
« on: January 01, 2018, 10:45:45 PM »

A big well done, to Belfast lad an ex-Linfield player Paul Smyth who scored on his debut today for QPR against Cardiff City. I've been talking to a few QPR fans tonight here in London, who have nothing but praise for the 20 year old.

I saw Paul playing a few times last summer before his move to QPR and he looked a real prospect, not the biggest in stature but very skillful and very gutsy. One of his final games here before his move was against Cliftonville at Solitude and the Reds back line gave  him a real hard time in the first ten or fifteen minutes but he didn't bottle it and  he played really well that day.
Good luck to him at QPR and I hope he continues to do well.

I see that Paul Smyth made his debut for Northern Ireland at the weekend and scored a goal,he is a great prospect for the future and Michael O'Neill will be delighted to have fresh blood in the team for the future.
