As a boy growing up at the docks in Belfast I and my mates were so lucky to have roamed and played on Submarines, Destroyers and general warships from many world wide nations.... most weekends throughout the summer months the Belfast Harbour Commision hosted “open days” and we had a ball. A terrific childhood.

Arch, have a look at H.M.S Alliance at Gosport Museum.


It's really worth a visit.
