Red Bull Formula 1 Showrun

Date: 3 Nov 2018
Time: 8pm
Venue: Belfast City Hall grounds

Formula 1 is coming back to the streets of Belfast when it welcomes the Red Bull Racing team for another high-octane show in front of thousands of spectators on Saturday 3 November.

Motorsport legend and F1 driver, David Coulthard will once again deliver the Red Bull F1 Showrun experience, demonstrating the power of an F1 car, up close and personal in the city centre. The 13-time Grand Prix winner will give fans a brief taste of the adrenaline rush of Formula 1 on the streets of Belfast.

Kicking off at 8pm in front of City Hall, this free event will feature David Coulthard performing numerous tricks and spins at speed along with some other two and four wheeled surprises for spectators. There will be three performances at 8pm, 8.30pm and 9pm approximately and each will last 30 minutes.

Large media screens will be in key positions in the surrounding streets, to give as many people the opportunity to experience the excitement at all angles.

From 12 noonĖ5pm, the car will be on display within the grounds of City Hall, and fans are encouraged to visit the garage and get a closer look at this feat of modern technology.AccessYou will be able to enter the site from 7.30pm via Donegall Place, Arthur Street, Upper Arthur Street, Donegall Square East, Donegall Square West, Queen Street and Upper Queen Street. There is access for persons with disability via Arthur St at the junction with the north side of Chichester Street. Viewing will be subject to available space.

Please note, access for vehicles to city centre around City Hall will be restricted, and buses and taxis will operate from temporary stops.

Expect high noise levels and take suitable precautions. Please remember this is an alcohol-free zone.

As well as city centre public toilets, you'll also find toilets at Fountain Lane and Donegall Square West.

No, I saw it in the Belfast Telegraph website and thought it was worth sharing. Iím still in academia Dot, donít worry ;)
