James Thank you for this reply it has been very useful but not bringing up the answer I'm searching for.
I'm searching for a very specific Advert Placed by The Board of Guardians from the Workhouse to (Place) a 2Month old baby boy August/September 1928 - I believe from PRONI these types of Adverts were placed on a regular basic to have babies moved into family homes - this is of course before Official Adoptions came into law in Northern Ireland.
These wee Babies were left destitute by Mothers who just couldn't for one reason or another look after them. - Thank God we live in easier and better times now!
Can someone just confirm if 3 Belfast Papers were printing at that time.
