What's the Mood
« on: January 26, 2019, 04:29:51 PM »
I am a yank with dual citizenship making plans to visit Belfast in the near future.  My family is from Belfast but moved in 1920.  I've done a lot of reading and research on the history of the city.  How is the mood ?  I don't mean to sound stupid or naive but I am wondering if there still exists a distrust, or sectarian hatred that may be simmering or obvious.  Thanks for reading.  Appreciate your thoughts. Thank you.

As a tourist if there is a mood or sectarian element I doubt you’ll ever experience it. Folk are very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. One of the most hospitable places to visit, in my opinion.
