1959 Hopeton Street boys
« on: February 13, 2019, 01:43:07 AM »

This picture was taken on Hopeton Street in 1959 just before we emigrated to Canada.

Looking at the picture, from left to right, are Brian Rice and Dennis Mulholland.

The middle row, left to right, is Billy Taylor, Derek Neil, and Tom Starr(?).

And that's me in the front, Terence McClean

Hi! My granny & grandad lived in hopeton street no 51. I knew Dennis Mulhollands sisters & i knew Brian Rice. I think he might have been in my class in school  (Malvern street ) his granny lived next door to my granny.

That's interesting, to make a connection after all this time. I attended Riddle Memorial Public School until March 1959. I believe it was on Malvern Street.
