Police say they are becoming increasingly concerned about a West Belfast pensioner who has been missing since Wednesday.

Sheila Farrell, 80, was last spotted walking towards Queen Street from Wellington Place around 9am on Wednesday February 27th.

She was wearing the clothes pictured in the images.

A West Belfast PSNI spokesperson said:,...

"Police are becoming increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of Sheila Farrell, 80 years who is missing from the Falls Road area and was last sighted walking in the direction of Queen Street from Wellington Place on Wednesday 27th February at approximately 9am.

Sheila is described as being 5ft 5" tall, stocky build with ginger hair and was last sighted wearing the clothes in the pictures.

"If you have seen Sheila or know of her whereabouts or can help us with our enquiries, please contact Woodbourne Police as soon as possible quoting serial 303 of 28th February 2019."

"A person was in touch with police to tell them that Sheila boarded a bus to Newry, leaving Belfast at 9:45am on Wednesday 27th. It arrived in Newry at approximately 11am."

"Police say efforts are ongoing to retrace her steps from there."

Has this Person been found ???  anyone know.

No mention of that by the PSNI,... and as she was carrying what might be some belongings, perhaps she was going to a safe destination and just didn't tell anyone in Belfast.

I did not see anything in the papers about this Lady.
Perhaps I missed it.
Surely they would report it and also if she has been found.
God help her-80 years of age -it doesn`t bear thinking about.

PSNI have confirmed that the lady was located safe and well yesterday.
We don't have to agree on anything to be kind to one another.
