   Pincher Creek 101 kms from Lethbridge is up next, not on hwy 3, but a bit south on #6. this area gets weird winds, and the hwy has lots of wind warning signs.  Elv.1130 m, or 3710 ft.

   Highest recorded winds were 177kms/h.    Chinook winds coming of the Rockys, change the temps very quickly.   Jan 1962   weather changed from - 19c to +22c. in a few hours.
