Cavehill American Bomber Crash
« on: May 07, 2019, 06:58:25 PM »
Hello Folks,

I wish i would have posted in here sooner. My friend Alfie and I are wondering if you know anyone who witnessed the awful American Bomber Crash on Cavehill, during WWII. We have been researching the crash for years and we are still trying to locate as many eyewitnesses and stories about the crash as possible. We would love to hear from you. Alfie is the man who found the wedding ring belonging to the radio operator on board that fateful flight.

Best wishes and many thanks.

Hi Will & Alfie

I think I recently found some pieces of metal belonging to the plane. If you want to DM or email me, I can send you photos. I was talking recently to one of the people who run the Cavehill Conservation Society and he thinks they could be also.
