Watters family shop, Markets 1960
« on: May 09, 2019, 01:01:22 PM »
Anyone remember the Watters family who had a shop on the corner of St George's Market/Albert Bridge in the late 1950s? There were three children, Margaret, Audrey and (I think) Gordon, and we all went to Binbrook, Lincolnshire, village school when our fathers were stationed there in 1949-1952 as sergeants in the RAF. We were posted to Aden in 1951 while Sgt Watters finished his service and returned to Belfast. By now Margaret (a great singer) would be about 80, Audrey around 77 same as me. Hopefully they're still around.
