Hi
Looking for as much information on the man named above. He was my great grandfather's brother and was awarded the MM during WW1.
He was also a quite famous footballer back in the day.

Are you referring to the following chap and his brother Leslie born to John Houston senior and Mary Elliott, is that right?

If so, then John Houston 8591 Royal Irish Rifles looks like a possibility, his attestation in March 1907 gives his birthplace as Ahoghill and age as 17 years and 9 months. Just shy of 5'3", 117 lbs, 34" chest when fully expanded, fresh complexion, hazel eyes and fair hair. Next of kin cited as father John Houston and brother Leslie Houston of what looks like 22? Alfred Street Ballymena.

I wondered about these folk in 1901 and 1911?

I also wondered about this marriage in 1915?

Many thanks for all your help. I believe that he was awarded the MM for actions in 1917.
