« on: July 13, 2019, 12:57:32 PM »
Hi everyone, Can anyone help.

I have a child death for a George Edward Bambrick. He died at Mater Infirmorum Hospital, Belfast on 8 Aug 1912. Is there an obituary for this child.

See death registration. I would like to know where he is buried!!

Appreciate any help.

Ray, George Edward Bambrick was interred at Belfast City Cemetery, Glenalina Extension in plot Q1 407. Also buried there are Georgina aged 1 year in 1935 and Duncan aged 56 in 1946.

However, that's the wrong George. The boy I am looking for is George who died in 1912 Mater Hospital.

Sorry about that, Ray. I clearly didn't pay attention to the year of death. You would think however that they must be related given that they shared the name George Edward Bambrick. The death record which can be viewed on the irishgenealogy.ie site states that George Edward's death on the 8th August 1912 resulted from shock following accidental burns sustained. As his address at the time was 64 Christopher St in the lower Shankill district one would expect the burial to have been at the City Cemetery but it is not recorded in the City Council database.
