East Belfast pub - help required to identify it
« on: August 30, 2019, 02:36:04 PM »
Hi Patricia Buller here - BBC NI.  I am working on an Archive project and need help in identifying the actual spot of the bar shown below.  We have a variety of suggestions but all around the Castlereagh Road/Beersbridge Road/Templemore AVenue-Road.  Could anyone be able to help.  Please email me at BBC.  Thanking you. You're right.  I vaguely remember having a drink with my Dad and his pals in The Armagh House Bar across the road.

It indeed the Bridge Bar at the corner of the Short Strand. The camera is looking towards Madrid Street and the Albertbridge Road.
