Donegall Road - Ex-Servicemen's Houses
« on: October 01, 2019, 08:42:24 AM »
Good Morning

By 1922, eight houses had been erected in the Donegall Road area under the auspices of the Irish (Sailors and Soldiers) Land Act (1919) and a further four were under construction. These houses were built for men returning from the Great War by the Local Government Board and later administered by the Irish Sailors and Soldiers Land Trust.

As part of a wider project relating to the houses built for ex-servicemen across Northern Ireland, I would be interested to identify where these houses in the Donegall Road area were located.

Thank you
