Where in Belfast (in your opinion) can you buy the best pasties?

My own personal favourites are Eddie Spences , Beersbridge Road or the Sea Fry at Rosetta.

I can tell you grandad, one thing I really miss about Belfast is the humble fish 'n chip shop Ulster pastie.

I wish I hadn't opened this thread now  ;)

They are actually to take to a friend in Scotland.  Any suggestions would be most welcome.  He did mention a butchers shop in North St.

On reading the topic 'Pasties' I thought what's the big deal about Ulster Pasties, given that all World Pasties are based on the Cornish Pastie including those in Australia but with a bit of research I found that the Ulster Pastie is different and not exactly in  the health food category. :)

Just imagine, an Ulster Fry for breakfast and an Ulster Pastie with Chips for dinner, maybe with a couple of pints on the way home from a hard day at the ship yard or the rope works.

Cheers.
