Royal Irish Constabulary lookup please

Looking for service record for James McIntyre he was Head Constable in 1852 and his address was Edwards Building Ballymacarrett anyone help

Poacher, not perfect but the LinenHall Library, belfast keep a series of books showing RIC records of officers of the RIC.  There will be other ones will jump in with more.  But thats a wee start for you.  Staff are very helpful and courteous.

Poacher , I donít know if youíve already done so but you could try the Police Museum at PSNI Headquarters, Knock , Belfast.

02890 650222 will get you through to the public switchboard then just ask for the museum.

His service no was 2507 issued between dates 1.2.1835. To 3.4.2840
