Hi skip, welcome to the forum I take it that Tommy Beaty married a German girl, Dessie married Roberta  :)
You are quite right ,I could have put that last entry a bit more clearly.

At the time that this group went to germany to train the Daily Mirror printed a colour photograph of the group taken before they boarded the plane. If anyone has a copy i would love to see it. The Mirror at that time was printed on the Suffolk Road Belfast and that building was blown up and i believe the archive was lost. I know its a long shot but I still have hope.

Hi Skip:
Was Billy Murry the foreman in 1956? What about Gerry Millar, The Yank (Forrester), Savage?

Hi Skip:
I guess it was the wrong place and wrong time. However, in 1956 there was a company on Boucher Rd. that manufactured the same or similar components And a guy called Billy Murrey who was in charge of inspection. For the life of me I can't remember the name. I'll have to dig into the history and try to find it.
