Hi Joan, Gerry Rogan here, just catching up with this thread after a long time away. Alfie posted some great photos there, brought back some great memories of one of the best firms ever I worked for and a great bunch of co-workers. Good photo of Herbie Priestly doing his party piece lol. Hope all's good with you.

Hi Gerry,
Good to hear from you.
I was hoping to get in touch with as many old employees as possible.
Itís 50 years ago this year we went to Germany to train for work in the Belfast factory.
A reunion for past workers would be great before we all snuff it.
Whatís your thoughts on this?

Hi Ger,
Davey Stewart here. You and I worked together in the Heat Treatment Department under Alec McCallister.

Glad I found this site. I always wondered what happened the old employees. I transferred to Germany With a group of others in 1973 and stayed there about 10 years.

Great memories. 50 years ago. Hard to believe. We should try to organise a reunion.

Hello, We went to Germany in October 1969 then worked in Bouvher Road until 1977 when we left Belfast for Canada.
I hope a reunion could be organized for when we are home, Hope Joan Taggart will be in touch with me on that.
I will post some people I remember at a later date.
