Some folks were asking about CLEARYS CHEMISTS in Cromac St ? The address was no 12. I've just came across this old tin.

I remember Joe well,a hell of a worker.I remember being in Joes house in Rileys Place as a kid and the thing that i remember he was having a plate of spuds,nothing else just potatoes.Do you remember Joe Mullan,he would have lived in 148,very bad speech maybe deaf,my mother Eileen seemed to understand him but nobody else.Some great photos there Plucky thank you.

I served my apprentiship in cromac st our shop was between mc kinneys chicken shop and the trocadero it was called fullertons carpets and upholstery,we would watch the guys kill the chickens on the edge of  the lorry out the back, great time here in the markets, the people over in reiley's place would look after the vans and cars for the workers
