Oral history project with people who left NI
« on: January 17, 2020, 03:19:51 PM »
Hi everyone,

I'm a researcher at the University of Brighton. I'm currently working on an oral history project being run between the University of Brighton and the University of Manchester, interviewing people who left Northern Ireland for Britain over the last 50 years or so. We're concentrating particularly on people who moved to London, Manchester and Glasgow, although this isn't being adhered to too rigidly.

You should be able to find the project's website if you Google 'Conflict, Memory, Migration', which is what it's called. If you're interested in taking part or know anyone who would be, please send me a message, and I'll forward you the project email address so you can get in touch with someone and arrange an interview.

Finally, I'm happy to try to answer any questions people have about the project on here. Thanks,

Fearghus
