"Health officials are weighing up potential sites for field hospitals, First Minister Arlene Foster has said."

"Among the places being assessed is Balmoral Park, outside Lisburn, she said."

"Six more people have died with coronavirus in Northern Ireland, bringing the total to 28."

"The Public Health Agency (PHA) said another 53 cases had been confirmed, bringing the total to 586."

"In total 5,885 tests have been carried out in Northern Ireland, with the vast majority negative."

"The COVID19 crisis has brought with it a lot of alarming news, like that of a young woman who tried to take her own life   https://www.irishtimes.com/news/ireland/irish-news/unionists-ask-for-chance-to-change-new-ni-abortion-laws-1.4217110

when refused an abortion at a local hospital, despite abortion now being legal here."

"She had been unable to travel to England due to flights being cancelled because of the COVID emergency."

"The feminist websites that have provided abortion pills for over a decade now report that COVID lockdowns in a number of countries mean they cannot guarantee a service to the island of Ireland at the moment."

 O0 Very good analysis.

I particularly liked his sign-off metaphor 'Whether any of us like it or not, on this one we are all in the same boat', for it succinctly demonstrates how unhelpful it is for some politicians to be constantly rocking that boat for reasons of cheap political point scoring.  Are they really so stupid as to overturn the boat that they themselves are sitting in?

Great speech.   O0

Indeed, as an Irishman from Northern Ireland, I listened with interest and respect, I imagine many Scottish folk, Welsh folk and English folk living in their respective parts of this United Kingdom did likewise.  :)
