« on: March 07, 2020, 12:45:50 PM »
Does anyone know where the baptismal records after 1892 for Christ Church Belfast, which is now part of RBAI.  PRONI have nothing after 1892!

Thanks

My guide to Church of Ireland records says that PRONI has all the records for Christ Church. It has the originals, as well as the usual microfilm copies. However there is a gap in the baptisms between 1892 and 1938, suggesting to me that those records are lost or missing.

But obviously you should be able to find statutory birth records for anyone born 1892 onwards.

Thanks for that, I just wanted to check.  Itís a shame, I have the birth records but I believe that an ancestor of mine may have baptised my mother-in-law as he was the minister at Christ Church at the time of her birth!

I will keep searching.
