Sir Patrick Cughlin takes three years and millions of pounds to come up with a one line answer surely this shows exactly what is wrong with the  six counties

According to a broadcast news story about the enquiry findings, one of the causes of the problem was that Arlene Foster, in her official Governmental position, had been signing documents related to the scheme, ... without first having read them !,... which she has now admitted and apologized for.

The key finding: 'Corruption did not cause' energy scheme failure

Corruption was at the very core of the allegation exploited by Sinn Féin as the trigger to collapse the Executive in this part of the United Kingdom.

An allegation now found to be groundless.

As usual, some will want to ignore that key finding in order to cherrypick other detail.  ::)

"RHI Inquiry Report: DUP's 'shameful disrespect' must be put in past, says Sinn Fein's O'Neill"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"At the time Sinn Fein demanded that DUP leader Arlene Foster step aside as a condition of returning to government."

"The RHI and other DUP financial scandals such as Red Sky and Nama were unacceptable, as was its shameful disrespect to large sections of the community," she said."

A total whitewash.
Nods and winks.
The winners, those with the big payouts from the enquiry.
What a waste....

Indeed. I note Sinn Fein - IRA have been left with an omelette on their face in the shape of Millionaire Martin Millar.  ::)

Here we go again - trying to pass the blame.  Corruption? - no- our MLA's are not smart enough.

No- this was just incompetence, ineptitude and sheer stupidity from an Assembly who were/are incapable of governing.  This is what happens when we insist on electing our political representatives for their tribal affinities and not on their intellect or ability.

GET REAL FOLKS.
No answer is an answer.

Gross incompetence by any standard. However, it didn't stop some using it as an excuse to bring the Assembly down.  ::)

An excuse they were waiting for IMHO in order to change the `state of the parties` to coin a phrase.

£7 million pounds - that’s what the inquiry cost.  In my opinion it was a white wash - the blame was spread too thinly.  And it was published right in the middle of the virus thing - the timing was perfect.  Done and dusted - yesterday’s news.

What ever happened to “the buck stops here”

Not often I agree with you.
One of the DUP Spad families to make £6 millon. Not a word said.
Sinn Fein's silence, bought and paid for.
Parasites the lot of them.
I wouldn't trust any of them to go to the corner shop for me.... 😉
Sinn Fein and tje DUP hate each other, and disagree on everything.
They tolerate each other, to keep the `gravy train' ££ on track.

Sinn Fein / IRA didn't come out of it too well. But of course you fail to mention that.  :D
