Missing boy
« on: June 27, 2020, 09:09:41 PM »
I haven't been on this week but reading through the posts I'm surprised there's nothing about the lad who went missing last week and found dead today....he was 14  and lived above us.... but it gets me to thinking are there many actual people who live here

Understand Belfastgale where you are coming from.  However may I suggest people may not be posting out of respect for the boys family.  Listening to the Police Officer speaking there seems to have been a lot of unhelpful social media over the week causing distress.  Think allymacs post above is sufficient for all of us.

Ohhhhh. !

https://www.belfastlive.co.uk/news/belfast-news/noah-donohoe-vigil-held-north-18502617

"Noah Donohoe vigil to be held in North Belfast"

"Tributes for Noah have poured in from across the world"

"Right across Northern Ireland, people have been left heartbroken by the death of 14-year-old Noah Donohoe."

"The St Malachy's College pupil went missing on Sunday June 21 and after almost one week of searches, police recovered his body in North Belfast yesterday morning."

"A candle lit vigil has been organised in memory of Noah this evening."

"A statement read: "As a community we are all totally devastated and heartbroken with the outcome of the search for Noah Donohoe."

"Our thoughts and Prayers are with his entire family circle at this sad time."

"We would like to come together on Sunday at the Grove Park entrance on Skegoneill at 6.11pm to hold a small service of remembrance."

"Pastor Brian Madden will say a few words and a prayer for the family."

"We would like to encourage as many people to come out not just from our local community but from all over no matter what part of Belfast you may live in you are welcome."

Into Wednesday and the funeral.
Obviously the autopsy has been done, yet still not released.
5 days since Noah's remains being found.
Still no clue to what happened.
A complete mystery.
Whats going on here? ???
This police investigation reminds me off the war years....

A week tomorrow since Noah's remains found.
No autopsy report and not a single word from the cops to the media since last Saturday.
This is like the twilight zone.
What is going on?

I would think the wee lads mother would be informed first. You would be better keeping quiet until then.

Surely she has, or should have, been informed by now....
There is alot of concern over this case, especially in North Belfast. I see there is an on-line petition set up this morning, expressing concern about this whole episode.
Already, it has 3000 signatures.
Alot of this concern revolves around peoples perceptions, which the police could put to bed.. One way or the other.
Get the truth and facts out there....
The consequences of not doing this asap, is feeding conspiracy theorists and unnerving people with genuine concerns.
It is also reported in Sunday papers, that Noahs mother has seeked the services of prominent Human Rights Belfast solicitor Niall Murphy.
Hmmmmm🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
