In my time 1963/4/5 the were confined to a cell for a short period and not allowed out door duties, there were 2 cells, but we all slept in dormitories holding 6 to twelve, if you got caught fighting it was the cells for a couple od days, one of the three POs went on to be a Governor in Long Kesh was feared by all.
