It's not hindsight on my part - I posted on here for several years ago criticising the DUP for supporting Brexit. A classic case of turkeys voting for Christmas. My initial opinion was that Sammy and the other dinosaurs only favoured Brexit because Sinn Fein didn't like it. Unfortunately Sammy and other DUP dinosaurs like Edwin Poots call the DUP shots and Arlene does what she is told. I get the impression that they sometimes embarrass their more sensible DUP colleagues like Jeffrey Donaldson.
However, I have a prediction. It's my opinion that the Irish Sea Border will actually help to perpetuate the Union with the UK. It puts Northern Ireland in an advantageous position and in about two years time we will start experience the benefits of having the best of both worlds. Intelligent Republicans will be become aware of the beneficial economics and choose to retain the UK link.
I definitely don't mind anyone disagreeing with me if they respond rationally. I will ignore the usual predictable sectarian crap.
