Spanish Rooms, Divis St. was unique. Scrumpy sold by the gallon, if you wanted. Lovely atmosphere ; except one night a riot started outside. The crowd started fires on the street with old furniture and then attacked the Hastings St RUC station. The police counter attacked and chased the crowd back up the street. This up and down the street continued for some time. We sought refuge in doorways as the crowds and police passed by. Eventually we managed to escape down a side street
