Eric grattan - son of Tommy grattan

I'm looking for a man called Eric Grattan. I believe his father was called Tommy Grattan who owned a car mechanics on the lisburn Road called T. J GRATTAN AND SONS.

Yes of course. My name is Chantelle Mcferran. I have been trying to trace your brother Eric for a while Via Facebook etc... However I was unaware of his passing - I am very sorry for your loss. I want to be certain that we are talking about the same person 🙈 did your father work with the 3 wheeler cars at their mechanics? I believe the garage was on Ferndale Street, on the lisburn Road? X

Can you tell me why you are searching for Eric.  He has been dead for a long time and we were estranged prior to his death.

Yes of course. If he is the correct person that I've been looking for, then he is my father's biological father.

There is no one left in. NI that I am still in contact with.  My older brother has dementia
And as far as I am aware is in a nursing home or sheltered housing. His children would be too young to know anything about Eric’s past. 
I am no longer in contact with them.
I fully understand your curiosity but as I said I have no further information. So sorry.

Thank you very much for all your help. Im sure this was strange for you. The curiosity of my own fathers upbringing etc has grew stronger as I become older and now have my own family. Unfortunately we dont have much more information either from my fathers mother's details of what happened.

Greatly appreciated & it was so nice to find someone with a connection to my dad through his biological father.
