Robert Ervine of Ardenlee Parade

Would any older residents of The Cregagh Area have any memories of Robert Ervine who lived at the above address untill the 1940`s? He was a musical instrument repairer and violin maker.He worked for a long time for Crymbals in Wellington place.

Thanks cos :D It's funny how the mind works. I could not for the life of me recall the name of the guy who talked to Walter Love, on some of his programmes on the radio, about the records made by the bands and singers of the 30s, 40s and 50s. As soon as I read Robert Ervine's name a couple of times ... I remembered .. the guys name was Roy Ervine.
