My dad came from Lisavon Street but left in 1954 when he got married.

My aunt lived there until she died 2 years ago

eddie,

I knew of people called Gossen and Bodel from Roundhill Street in the 60s.

The fella who bought our wee Boxer pup lived on Roundhill Street around 59/60. Her name was Goldie and she used to go to a wee shop on the Albertbridge Road to get his paper. I don't know his name.

My Dad's cousin lives in #4 Hillfoot Street....Aggie Wray I'd a friend from the late 60's, Elizabeth who lives/lived next door, sorry cant recall her name...Coey ??? She  works/worked in the Ulster  hospital.
I worked with Betty Joule in Shorts, had a sister called Sadie, I think they lived in Strandburn Drive in the 60's and 70's.
Friends Sue and Brian Conn used to live not too far from Strandburn Drive, in the very late 60's and 70's, now they're in Bangor.

hey Ulsterstan,

Ever hear of a Brookvale Cottage or Brookvale Terrace during your time in Sydenham?
