Is there anyone out there who went to St. Anthony's Primary School Millfield?
Of course there is thousands of us.   I have a lot of the school records going back many many years up until about 1975 and if you are looking for some history of the past pupils let me know.

Hi,

How  far back do your records go, my daddy was from Upton Street, Freddie Holden went to St Anthonys, would have been around 1927 onwards, taught by Paddy McFadden whose daughter later me un St. Louises.

Brothers Sam, Joe, William and Eddie, sisters Mary and Kathleen all Holdens would have gone to St. Anthony's.

Would appreciate any help and any old photos anyone has from the school.

hello lilybo,  It a long story but I promise you you'll know in the not to distant future.  My collection only begins ar0und 1940 but I have photo copies of others I got from the Public Records Office.

It is my intention to set up a web site where I will publish all my documents for anyone wishing to do research.

Hi Sultan, Welcome to the forum. O0   I think I know the McNiece family you spoke of. (Unity Flats before moving to Antrim Road.)  We were having a discussion last week on where the  concrete stone went, that had National School engrave on it that was above the front of the building.  One theory is that it is in the custody of the parish priest in St. Mary's Chapel.

Thanks.
