apparently it was given years ago by someone from the countryside  not really sure of the story though

Thank you so much as I have hit a blank wall I cant understand why there is nothing on the internet about it I am just trying to find out more about my Grandad even my cousins don't know anything about him he died in 1966I was young 13yrs old ..Lena

Hi Chink me again I just found from a cousin that my grandad did set up the water polo club so thats something for me to be going on with .Good night  ;)

my  friend runs the water polo now has done for years  sent me all info you hae and i will try to find out more

A small world indeed you are so good to do this for me my grandad was John(jack as he was called) Kennedy we think he was born in Antrim town but lived in Boomer Street until he died in 1966 himself and I think it was 5/6 other guys in the swimming team this was 1926 and as I said he was in the Water Polo team a thing I never knew so any help would be welcome  ???

Does anyone remember the huts that were used for classrooms back in the 60s and before that ?and the old school that became to boys school when the new school was built in maybe 1959 or 1960 I am not sure  ???

I`m a newbi to this site .  I remember most of those names.  I remember seeing Danny Hill with his leg in plaster after the crash.  He lived further up Glen road from Arizona street beside old Dr ? house.  We called the tin church the tin bucket.  Did you know anyone in Arizona Street?
Hi you mentioned Arizona Street, my uncle Willie Mcgreevy lived there with his family.

Hi Helena yes I am from beechmount , my uncle lived Arizona st, the Hills were another part of the family they also lived in Arizona st.
