Hi Misssyth1,
Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I made a full recovery and I keep waking up on the right side of the grass (snow here in Manitoba)
I only browse the forum  once in a while to see if there is anything new or if some like Esor is looking for something that I can pass on.
In my 80's now. so when I go so goes a lot of memories.
Enjoy the day.

OK ESOR.
I emailed you the word doc. for Memories of the Hammer and the Old Lodge Rd. Let me know if it came across OK.
Also look for a book by John Young Simms, Farewell to the Hammer. 1992. Library Cat # ISBN 1 870132 56 6. Another good read of the Shankill Rd. area

Ensor, did you receive the file I sent you on Sunday?
It would be nice to know.

Hi Manitoba.  Can I also get a copy of the Hammer book?  If you are ok with this I would be able to make it a pdf, post it on a free library site and post the link and details here on the Forum.  Then anyone who wants it can download it direct from the library site.

I will PM you my email address, once I figure out how to do that. All the best

Hi Gormless/Manitoba.  It says I am not allowed to send personal messages.  I don't know whether this is wider policy or just because it is a couple of years since I last posted.  Hopefully I will eventually figure it out and send you a personal message with my email.  I can't even find the post I sent you a few minutes ago.  Definitely senior moments happening here.

I am having a bit of trouble navigating this site. So please forgive my incompetence. Whoever came up with that funeral notice for Peter Joseph O'Rorke, Thank you!!! New to me. He and his wife were- apparently - quite a colorful couple. I have found newspaper articles
about Peter being called the Heir to the American Millions, unfortunately a scam. Yes my mistake absolutely A.A. Redmond. I was trying
to remember the name offhand. I did get the A.A. part right. Seven children in the family Marguerita, Robert Ambrose McCallum, Peter Vincent, Cecelia, Patrick Hyacinth, John J, and Hugh A.H. Any scrap of information greatly appreciated.Dennis O'Rorke
